It should has something around 2000 calories and consist of 75 grams pure fat.
The ideal dessert for a high-calorie diet.

Long time no hear!

I apologize for neglecting my blog for straight three month.
I was very busy with my exams (I failed two of them, not too bad).
After this had some trouble with my web space provider, but the blog is now hosted on a new server with a higher performance.
This weekend I will add some content (also photos!). Cross my heart!

Impressions – Culture Shock
The last days here were very impressive. A junky tried to steal something out of my room, by the open window while i was asleep. I meet a lot of cultures from: Turkey, Sweden, USA, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Hungary, U.K., Ireland, Australia, Finland, Denmark, Korea and China. The Chinese people are very nice. It’s fun to talk with them, see theirs gesticulate and specially to see them be happy about something. I think the Chinese people are the most interesting culture here. On Friday was my first introduction-day, it was a little bit disappointing, because they tried to sell us an insurance. I was lineup for about one hour, to sign up for the Erasmus-Introduction week. As just 5 people was in front of me, there were sold out. So i registered, for the IBS-U-Introduction week. Until now, i guess it was a god decision, because i got a lot of fun.

Successfully Arrived
Yesterday at 2 pm, I arrived in Groningen at Winschoterdiep. I was able to park in front of the entrance, to unload my stuff. On the way to my room, I crossed my student manager.
He handed out the keys to me (one for my room and one for the main door and the bike shelter). After this i signed the rental agreement.
My student manager showed me the kitchen, the common room, the toilets, showers and the laundry room. As my stuff was dropped in my room, i decided i need to go to IKEA.
I bought a bigger desk for my computer, two lamps, a carpet and a mirror.
Now it's looking nice, i feel very well in my room.

IBS Information Booklet

Letter of Motivation
Dear Sir or Madam,
Currently I am working as a technician in an IT-Company located in North West Germany, after I reached my “Fachhochschulreife” in summer 2008 at BBS II School in Leer, Germany.
Since a year, I decided to change to a more versatile profession. At that time I became advertent to the “Hanze University Groningen”, as my school offer an excursion to your “Open daag”. I got the chance to take a look, additionally to the regular program of the “Open daag”, at the “International Business School” and especially the “International Business and Management Studies”. As one of your lectures spontaneous takes time, to tell me something about the study course and the IBS, I was really impressed. In the following month I look for information at your website, read comments about the Hanze on other sites and read your booklets. After my second “Open daag” last autumn I was sure that the “Hanze” will be the best university for me.
At both events I got impressed of the gracefully and courteous behavior of your lecturers and students. Project orientated education was my favorite school subject and I made positive experience with it.
It would be great full to study “International Business and Management Studies” at your University. My English skills would be improved and to I would become acquainted with international cultures.
After I finish my study, I plan to work in countries all over the world, well prepared by the international atmosphere of the “Hanze Unitversity”. I can meet cultures from all over the world, to learn the differences and their characteristics. I think the two semesters abroad, in Cities like Toronto, Taipei or Melbourne will be my personal highlight.
I’m assured that the Hanze is a perfect preparation for me.
Best regards
Uwe Megard
