Language vs. conquer my weaker self
Study a language sucks! The worst thing will be the language week with "compulsory attendance" starting at Monday. A whole week of Dutch... But I have to study, cause there is a lot for me to catch up with. Especially because I spend the last three nights with partying. Beside studying today I was taking a look at two TV series: "Californication" and "The Sopranos". I only watched one episode each, but I already love it! Just as a complained to three others about they all in a relationship a guy England said to me: "Wanna have sex or what" o.O
Note: The word "Wieckse" (Wichse) in German means cum. I will not try this brand.
The Panorama Picture is finished
I'm still having a hangover from yesterday... but the show must go on. So I will go out soon, to meet a study mate. Today I realized that I need a lot effort to pass the next Semester and I will have to study hard. Wish me good luck.

Welcome new faces!
Today a lot of people arrived in my hallway and I hope they are able to replace the others. So Welcome Everybody!
This morning I went to the Hanze for the exam-review of my ENG2 exam.. well.. resit.
Later I went to IKEA to buy some odds and ends, after I did my groceries. It seems that I have a more expensive lifestyle since a few weeks. Actually I just bought normal stuff, but in the end it was quite expensive. This afternoon I spend some time for studying Dutch, there is still a lot to do and I hope I will survive the language-week. Now I will look for somebody to drink with, somebody there? C90!
Saturday..another one…
Yesterday was great. I was in my bed around 7AM, but only because my mates wanted to leave. Otherwise I would have stayed even longer. : >
So, Saturday... I was bored the whole day, but also not able to clean up my room and do the dishes, everything is still messed up. Beyond that I think it looks even worse, than this morning. The only thing I achieved today was cooking, not more not less.. ah and some Trophies on my Play Station 3! Around me here is still the leaving-mood of everyone, a waver between sad and happy. Furthermore seems like everybody in the student dorm is going out tonight. I don't, I will study a bit Dutch tomorrow, cause then it will be silent nearly the whole day. So I am on going with being bored, playing PS3 and soon I will go to sleep.
Attached you can see my lunch today, Chinese dish, with chicken, scallions, ginger and chili peppers. Isn't it beautiful? And it was delicious as well!
It’s a new day, it’s a new start…
Today I had a meeting with my Academic Advisor, I told him about my group members and explained the probably reasons why our Business Plan failed. The conclusion: I have to do the project again, but the new group will be with experienced students. Also I can do already in the second semester, cause of this I will get the credits in the first year and it will not affect my ranking for the semester abroad. It means that I have to do it according to another project, but the courses in the next semester like Mathematics will be quite easy for me. So today I'm fine with everything. This evening we had a last small common dinner, I will really miss the people. Now I will go back to the kitchen to spend one of the last evenings with them.
The Change
Sad time for me. I broke up with my girlfriend, every here in my student dorm is leaving and my group and I failed the "Business Plan Project". Say goodbye to seven ECs. Currently I am studying Dutch and beside this I'm cleaning up my room. Tomorrow I will have meeting with my "Academic Advisor", to talk about the Business Plan and how it will go on. The last days I collected some signatures from my housemates and I have sixteen more to go. I received some free stuff from leavers like a lamp, a mirror, some wood and dishes. Lucky me 
. The weather is quite bad, but at least the snow is melting and I will be protected from the rain by my car. Also it's nice to see the leaving people trying to get rid of their stuff. (Picture attached)
Weekend Bottom Line
Okay first of all my group and I have to repair our Business plan, the "Behavior and Management Organization"-Part failed and the "International Law"-Part is weak. Actually I expected that we have to do a repair, but anyway I feel disappointed. Tomorrow I will meet with one of our group members to repair the BMO part. I hope will pass after the repair, to lose 7 ECs would be a total disaster.
At least I passed my handed in portfolio for ENG2. Now I have just to prepare for the exam in 2 and half weeks. Vocabulary, Passive and some other nitty-gritty stuff.
This evening I went out for dinner with a housemate to the bar pepper in the city center, the environment was very cozy and modern. Also the dinner was very luxury and unbelievable delicious. As an appetizer we shared a Sushi plate with expensive but very good Sushi. After that I had a grill plate, with different kinds of meat, steak fries and a salad. The whole dinner for two was 57€, but they were it totally worth.
At last I found in my hallway this nice decal.
New Year Trouble
So happy new year to everybody!
I'm back from my Christmas vacation in Germany. I had good time, but I also missed Winschoterdiep .
Until tomorrow I have to finish my Portfolio for the ENG2 course, also I have to write a report about the results from the 180° degree Analysis. The 180° Analysis is a survey which I filled out for myself and for my group members; it’s about behavior, working morale and so on. I have just a 0.94 difference between what I think about myself and what the other group members think about me.
There weather here is still damned cold, but the snow is melting. *happy*
Before this is finished I want to show you the view out of my window.
Now I'm going to take a shower, get something to eat and then start working.

I am not able anymore to resist against Christmas. Every evening on the way back from the university to the dorm I have to cross the city center. Now I am feeling the Christmas spirit. Isn’t it beautiful?
Roomprogress 90% achieved
Over the last 3 month my room developed a lot. Frist of all I changed the arrangement of the furniture, cause sleeping with your head to the hallway-wall can be very noisy. For 50€ I bought a blue leather sofa at the Mamamini secondhand-store, it's very comfortable, has enough space for 3 people and for a couple of nights it could also be a roost for a guest.
Furthermore I have my own fridge now, the most time he is very silent, he doesn’t cost too much money for the purchase as well as for the livelihood. No fear about stolen food, huge capacity and every night cold beer. I guess he is male.
But the walls are still some kind of blank I think they need some posters. I am waiting for your motif suggestions and would like to hear your opinion to the current status and some new ideas.
